So... the community's response to DeviantArt's revamped website,
especially the new logo was, as expected, fairly polarizing.

While some members, myself included, liked/loved the new look, others weren't
particularly impressed by it and found the redesign... "unnecessary".

But who am I to judge?
All I know is that I'm a proud member of the largest online art community in the world!!

In honor of DeviantArt's controversial rebranding,
I'd like to share with you a list of 40 logos of popular brands with hidden messages behind them.

If you could describe dA's new brand logo in two sentences, how would you go about it?
Did you discover any additional subliminal messages, or top secret government codes
hidden in the logo that perhaps even dA's own design team might have missed?

Do share your thoughts and interpretations on dA's latest redesign in the comment section below.
Rants, raves, praise, conspiracy theories, your favourite vegan cheesecake recipes... all are welcome.
Let your imagination run wild!

Boldly Facing The Future

Many of you have been in this community for a long time, but whether you’ve just joined or you’ve been a member since day one, this is your first impression of the new DeviantArt.
Change is not something that we take lightly, because it affects our collective identity. It was important for us to define who we are and what we’re made of at our core before we changed anything. We all have our own understanding of what that means, but the process of getting that core story down on paper took almost a year.
The result is “Bleed and Breed Art.” This is our center of gravity and our reason for getting out of bed in the morning.
It is the guide and the justification for everything, including our business partnerships, the development of the new app and the design of our new ide

“I strive for two things in design: simplicity and clarity. Great design is born of those two things.”

Congratulations on your Deviousness Award!
Inspired! to work even harder now to become better with photography!

I very new here and have learned a lot just from others and there work.
I'm teaching my self to learn lightroom 5 and iv picked up some small tricks
but I still have to learn a lot more! I haven't even broke the surface or potential
with lightroom. I found online classes to help with lightroom and it looks very
worth it except it kinda expensive also I will not have time once  join the
Army's Military with in a couple of months.
The whole reason I am Joining is to set my self up for the future and eventually
be able to pay for a Art school and do something with art in 5 years that's my plan :)
