Originality Technique ImpactYou've captured a lovely little moment in time - this young man, so absorbed in helping a fellow creature that he appears to not even notice that his kindness has attracted your attention.
I like the way that you've angled the shot from above (rather than from the side) to remove any visual distractions; the grey ground surface complements the general colours of the image.
I also think that it makes a difference that we can't see the face of the young man. It's not necessary for us to know what his facial features are like because we can all identify with the sympathy that he gives to the kitten - the comments people have already left below show that.
