I came across these Hindu preachers who had just arrived from Nepal (the second from left, the one with lips coming out of his throat,
is their spiritual leader, a pundit) and they were holding a prayer gathering outside the Golden Cinema in Bur Dubai.
Concerned, I approached and warned them that what they're doing might not sit well with the authorities here.
But the pundit just smiled, shrugged and said, "Welcome! Sit, and listen."
"Okay," I said, "maybe I could stay for a couple of minutes...."
I left fifteen minutes after the two and a half hour prayer meeting ended.
It was quite an experience!
