This one is excellent ! Captured in the right time, when you can see all the teeth of the cat ! And the chicken who looks in the direction of the cat ! But the cat "seems" to be innocent, you can see his teeth but he has no intention to eat a chicken, no no no, he just yawns !!! But then, what is he doing there ?
Uff! Khatarnak yaaden! Film ka naam 'Sanam' hai. My ex, who happened to be a massive Sanjay Dutt fan, forcibly took me to watch this nightmare. I politely sat through the whole film, and then I broke up with her the same night.
In the context of the fabulous book you will be publishing on urban cats, this shot will be great in sequence to trip up the classic poses with some comic relief. Like a Rosecrans and Guildenstern moment. Really, these cat photographs as a book could be very moving and beautiful particularly if there are emotional arcs in the editing and sequencing.
Regular using a self-publishing tool with a company that would send you proofs and then sell them through Amazon etc... See if there's a company in Japan. I love the way they print there. The set is building beautifully but I cannot more strongly recommend that when you are ready you find someone to design the layout and another person to edit and sequence. On design, the pictures and subjects are so rich, I would suggest single images per page with healthy uniform border design in pure white - - but I tend to be formal. Anyway, you probably have at least another year ahead you chasing down cats.
