I think this is just a fantastic chilhood friendship photo
and it would be awesome if at a later date they could all see and remember there friendship with the same joyfull smile, even if your not there to fall in a ditch

Now that a wonderful thought, Paul - not the part about the ditch, cause that's scary - but the part about friendship... wonderful! :D

Thank you Khuram.
I just think we zip through life a little to fast and forget the little things we left behind in the rush to get where we are,
such as the innocence of youth and the true friendship we had when we had nothing but wide eyes. :highfive:

Children, despite their living conditions always find a reason to smile. :)
In this case, it was me slipping and almost falling backwards into a muddy stream. :D

That's true. :)

So that's the reason why: you provided them a good show :D.

Really neat group-portrait. Colours and lighting are good, and all (but for the little guy in the back) are captured nicely. It's a pity you didn't include their feet in the frame though. That would've made this shot even better.

Thank you! You are absolutely right and I completely agree with you.
What really happened was that I slipped and almost fell in the muddy stream right beside me while taking this picture. Thats why their feet are out of frame. What you're seeing is actually a POV of me falling backwards. :disbelief:
